"Archer fish"

The Archer Fish is also known as the Seven Spot Archer Fish or Large Scale Archer Fish. Its name is derived from the method it uses to catch its prey, literally shooting jets of water from its mouth to knock small insects into the water so it can catch them. They can survive in fresh water and brackish water but are best suited to brackish water conditions


Archer fish or Spinner fish bodies are deep and laterally compressed, with the dorsal fin , and the profile a straight line from dorsal fin to mouth. The mouth is protractile, and the lower jaw juts out. Sizes are generally small,about 5–10 cm but T. chatareus can reach 40 cm (16 in)

"Checker Barb"


The Checkered Barb is also known as the Checker Barb, Checkerboard Barb or Island Barb and gets its name from the back marks along its body, thought to resemble a checkerboard. It is a very lively but peaceful fish and an ideal choice for a community aquarium.

The adult males have red fins with black tips.It will grow up to at most 2 inches (5 centimeters)

The checker barb was originally described as Capoeta oligolepis by Pieter Bleeker  in 1853. It was also referred to as Barbus oligolepis by many authors, though it does not belong in the genus Barbus and B. oligolepis properly refers to a different fish species that is only found in Turkey.

Range: Endemic to the Island of Sumatra, Indonesia

"Guppy"

The Guppy is also known as the Millionfish...They are an extremely popular aquarium pet fish and are prolific breeders! Guppies are an ideal fish for the beginner, they are hardy and breeding is almost a certainty.

It is easy to differentiate between males and females; the males are colorful whilst the females are a dull grey color.
Avoid putting Guppies in a tank with Cichlids or Siamese Fighting fish as they can attack them.
